GROUP LESSONS

In all the years of teaching people to play golf we have discovered that groups are one of the best ways to learn.  We have structured clear and basic courses available to teach you all the elements you need to get you out on the course.  We advise almost everyone that hasn’t really played before to start on our beginners course and work your way through to the advanced level which will cover all of the aspects you will need to really enjoy the game.

The teaching takes place on our new driving range with the latest in teaching systems, putting and short game areas.  The presence of Dunes Café to be able to socialize with the other people in your group after lessons also seems to add to the social element of the game.

GROUPS – BEGINNERS

Learn the basic fundamentals with a structure that covers:

1. Introduction to Golf and Set – up
2. Making a smooth and balanced swing
3. Swing and development
4. Introduction to other clubs

All this is done in four one hour lessons with a maximum of six people and minimum of 3 pupils in a friendly atmosphere.  All this for only dhs 395 per person.

GROUPS – IMPROVER

The improver classes are aimed at players who have played a little before or those who have completed the beginners class.  These lessons cover:

1. Fundamentals and swing check up
2. Swing plane and effects with various clubs
3. Introduction to Explanar
4. Putting
5. Short game – Chipping – High v’s Low

The four one hour lessons are again priced at dhs 395 per person.

GROUP – ADVANCED

The advanced lessons complete the 12 week course and after these weeks you should be able to get out onto the course.  These lessons cover:

1. Full swing trouble shooting
2. Chipping and pitching
3. Bunker play and putting
4. Long irons, woods and rescue clubs

The four one hour lessons are again priced at dhs 395 per person.

GROUP - REFRESHER

The Refresher Lessons are an ideal way to cover the 4 key aspects of the game.  Each individual lesson focuses specifically on one aspect.  Ideal for people who have completed the group courses or for the more experienced wishing to pin point specific faults or weaknesses

1. Putting
2. Chipping and Pitching
3. Irons
4. Woods

The four one hour lessons are again priced at dhs 395 per person.

At Al Hamra Golf Club we also offer Group coaching for groups of any size from 1 hour upwards catering for simple social gatherings or parties to corporate clinics.

GIVE GOLF A GO!

Give Golf a Go is a fun and easy way to see if you would like to learn to play golf.  All these groups are held with other people in the same position as you, thinking about playing golf, but not wanting to commit to a course of lessons before trying it out.

Give Golf a Go includes a tour of the Academy Facilities followed by a supervised session learning some basics with one of our PGA golf professionals.

You then receive a complementary drink at the Dunes Café to see the other facilities Al Hamra has to offer.  During this time you will have the opportunity to ask any questions to the Pro that are lingering on your mind while socializing with the other people in your group.

What a great way to spend part of a day seeing if golf is a game for you.

All this is built in to one price of just dhs 99 per person.
