Team Pilfold Shoots the Lights Out

With the long working week behind the budding Floodlit Challengers, Thursday the 18th of February saw a cold chill in the air as a light wind swept across Al Hamra providing perfect playing conditions for the competitors. The ‘Heron’ Swoops

Friday the 12th of February saw a new dawn as the new USGA handicap system entered its third week of operation and Al Hamra unveiled the Crans Sur Sierre Trophy, which will become an annual club tournament. The day’s competitors were blessed with glorious sunshine and still conditions as they played the flourishing Al Hamra Links. The tournaments format was individual, full handicap stableford with a strong field competing for the 3 overall prizes. The golf course was full of special shots during the day and the overall scores returned were phenomenal as . . . .

Lustenberger Jets Off with the Top Prize

The second Floodlit Challenge of February proved profitable for one of Al Hamra’s yearly visitors from Switzerland, as strong field of competitors set out to claim the evenings outright top honours. All the evenings competitors must surely of had one eye on the ever increasing two’s pot which stood at 590AED before the 6:45pm shotgun start. . . .
