Week 4 of the Barracuda Floodlit Series saw the Eclectic Series gain a three way tie at the top of the leaderboard between Wilde, Martin and Howell, and produced a family one, two in the evening’s podium finishes. A very mild evening by UAE summer standards drew a strong field of competitors to compete for more Barracuda and golfing goodies. There were many fantastic scores returned with 6 players carding more than 18 points. Claiming third place on the evening’s podium was Liecl Ward, who returned a score of 18 points and managed to beat off Mike Sandeman in a last 6 hole card countback. Laying claim to second place was Liezl Parry who recorded a superb 20 points during the evening’s proceedings. The week 4 Barracuda Series top honours were won by Chris Parry, who also had 20 points, after he managed to pip wife Liezl on a card countback.

Kim claimed the nearest the pin award at the par 3, 4th hole as his exquisitely placed tee shot finished within feet of the hole. On the 7th hole, Lesley Mullen walked away with the honors after she floated her tee shot over the front bunker to the tightly located pin position. The Floodlit 2’s pot of 650 AED, which had stood unclaimed for the previous 3 weeks fell to Mike Sandeman, after he sublimely holed his “Texas Wedge” chip shot from the collar of the rough on the par 3, 7th hole.
