The Tombstone Classic is one of the most popular events on the Al Hamra schedule and certainly one that the members enjoy discussing during the post round gatherings. This year it was Nigel Beadle that produced one of the best rounds the event has seen as he successfully negotiated his way around the course completing nearly 19 holes, his final shot finishing just 6 foot from the first hole. Pushing him all the way was his playing partner Cindy Rials, playing in her first event back since moving back to the UAE, who finished just 20 foot from the hole on the19th. Third place was claimed by Vicki Rogers who also played round to the 19th finishing 68 yards from the flag.
