With the start of the new season underway the first floodlit challenge of the month saw competitors take on the format of a 2 person Texas Scramble. As the heat begins to subside, much to the relief of everyone, competitors looked forward to the unusual format hoping to pick up one of the many great prizes on offer. Tonight’s leader board finished very close with returning Craig McGuire and partner Ian Broom eventually claiming the top spot with a great score of 33.48. Second place went to the ever solid pairing of Dewald Lubbe and Eddie O’Neil who finished with a score of 34.04, with third place going to Rick Handsel and Paul Tipping only 0.79 back on 34.83. The two nearest the pin prizes went to Vin Schmi on the Hole 4 and Ian Broom on Hole 7. See you again next week where the format will be a Combined Stableford.
