Tonight’s floodlit challenge saw competitors take on the course in matchplay in an individual bogey format. This meant that every hole with a score of birdie or better would result in a hole won, every hole with a score of bogey or worse a hole lost and every hole with a score of par a hole halved. The aim therefore was to win as many holes as possible and finish with a plus score. Tonight’s winner, beating the course and finishing on plus 3 was Byron Kraemer who won 5 holes lost 2 and halved 2. Second place went to Donnie Rials who finished one back on plus 2, while newcomer Peter Neidhardt picked up third place after finishing on plus 1. The two Nearest the Pin prizes were won by Byron creamer on Hole No.4 and Eddie O’Neil on Hole No. 7. With the only two on the night Bill Grosser picked up the 210DHS prize.
