Tonight’s Floodlit challenge saw the return of Powerplay, a relatively new and fun format where each green contains two different coloured flags, an easy pin position and a hard pin positon. Electing to take a Powerplay on a hole would force you to take on the difficult black flag but with a possible reward of double points for a Net birdie score or better. Tonights champion Paul Hoban managed to take advantage of this on two holes picking up 6 points a hole and finishing with a great total of 26 points. This turned out to be enough to win by 5 points from second place finisher Cindy Rials who finished with a still very respectable score of 21 points. Left to battle it out for third place were Ian Nicholls, Ian Broom and Peter Duck, as all three players finished with 18 points. With the best back 6 score after a card play-off it was Ian Nicholls who snuck in there to pick up the prize. The two Nearest the Pin prizes went to Rob Hoban on Hole 4 and Paul Hoban on Hole 7. There were no two’s tonight which means that 190DHS will be rolled over to next week.
