Tonight’s Floodlit challenge saw Dewald Lubbe produce probably his best performance so far in the weekly Thursday night event. He managed to cruise round the floodlit nine with 4 birdies and only 1 bogey to card an awesome score of 22 points in the individual stableford format. The round included a chip in for birdie on the second and two lipped out eagle attempts on the two par 5’s. Dewald also managed to pick up the nearest the pin prize for his effort on hole no.4. Runner-up, finishing only 2 points behind the winner was Cindy Rials who carded an also great score of 20 points. She did however have to enter a card play-off with Andy Spavin who also carded 20 points, but Cindy prevailed with the better back 6. As a consolation prize Andy did manage to pick up the other nearest the pin prize on hole number 7. There were two two’s tonight which meant a split pot between Blair Smith and Andy Spavin.
